Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Revova uses cookies and similar technologies on revova.app. We keep our cookie use minimal and limited to what's described below.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They allow a site to remember information between page loads and visits. Most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can modify your settings to refuse them.

2. Cookies We Use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the website and app dashboard to function. They cannot be disabled.

  • Session cookie — keeps you logged in to your Revova dashboard. Expires when you close your browser.
  • CSRF token — protects form submissions from cross-site request forgery. Expires with the session.

Functional cookies

These cookies remember your preferences to improve your experience.

  • Theme preference — remembers light or dark mode. Expires after 1 year.
  • Dashboard layout — remembers your moderation queue view. Expires after 1 year.

Advertising and analytics cookies (marketing site only)

revova.app, our public marketing website, uses the following to measure and improve our marketing:

  • Meta Pixel (Facebook) — sets _fbp and, if you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad, _fbc. Used to measure ad performance and page/event activity on this marketing site. Expires after 90 days. You can opt out via your Facebook Ad Preferences or a browser tracker-blocking extension.
  • Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager — helps us understand marketing site traffic. See Google's cookie policy for details.

None of these are used inside the Revova app dashboard or on the storefront review widget installed on merchant stores — only on the public revova.app marketing pages. The storefront widget does not set any cookies on shopper devices.

3. Third-Party Services

Our dashboard uses infrastructure services (CDN, error tracking) that may set strictly necessary cookies under their own privacy policies. These are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Our marketing site's advertising and analytics cookies are described above.

4. How to Control Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in to the Revova dashboard.

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Cookies
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

5. Updates to This Policy

If we add new cookies, we will update this policy. We will not add advertising or tracking cookies without clear notice and, where required by law, your consent.
